California officials lifted the state’s stay-at-home order following a drop in new reported COVID-19 cases and hospitalization rates as well as projections for that decrease to continue, Governor Gavin Newsom announced Monday. The lifting of the order means restaurants in some areas can open for outdoor dining and an end to the 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew. Watch his remarks.
